Can do can opener

Very easy to use, but. . .
"This tin opener was as easy to use as the advertising blurb suggested. However, I do not like the way it removes the whole of the top of the tin, including the edge or lip. I have two reasons for saying this: it leaves the top of the tin with a sharp edge, on which I cut myself when I tried to clean it for recycling. The second is that I like to put the lid inside the tin then crush it for recycling. Using this opener, the lid is too large to be able to do as I would wish."

"Delighted to find a can opener that works so well. Very disappointed that it was delivered in such irresponsible packaging. The hard plastic shell is not recyclable and quite hard to open and is entirely unnecessary. Manufacturers need to take this critical problem seriously and consumers will make buying choices accordingly. I can’t recommend Joseph Joseph because of the environmental impact of their packaging."
